I’ve finally transfered to Blogger. So I guess I wont be blogging here anymore as I find Blogger’s functions more preferable. So… My dear friendster blog, BYE BYE!! =)
Was absent on wednesday. Had to take care of my baby (hehe..) coz mum had to go for her medical checkup. But it isn’t the main point anyway. XD
Around three quarter of the class attended school that day. Which I think is okay, compared to P5D with only 1 (poor her). Heard from sheyn about how did the potluck decision came into their heads. It was decided during the last two periods of class. They were hungry. So they talked about food. Then about organising a party. Next about wanting to do it in school. FINALLY THE POTLUCK DECISION IN CLASS!! *speechless*
Li Yun sms’d me after she came back from school. “There’s a potluck at S5C tomorrow. Pls help spread around the news.” You have no idea how co-operative our class is when it comes to food! Haha… Told my mum after she’s woke up from her nap, the first thing that came into her head was, “Wah, your class still can eat ah??” At least she understands that S5C’s a class of food lovers… XD
I brought some chicken fingers (corn-flavoured, not bad!) and gaijors (meat stuff). Wen Yin asked about when should we start the potluck. Everyone was just like, will puan chan or ng choy leng walk by or something something… Then someone shouted, “I’ve went to the office! Puan Chan’s absent today! Don’t have to worry so much! JUST EAT!!!” Then, it’s settled that the minute the prefect leaves the room after marking our attendance, LET’S ALL BEGIN!!
We arranged 7 tables together. (Imagine how much food have we brought) There were sparkling juices, fruits, carbonated drinks, jellies, junk food, sandwiches, pizzas, dim sum’s, bee hoon, sushi, fruit tarts, fried rice, dark chocolate (non-fattening)… My god! IT WAS LIKE HEAVEN!!! Haha..
Holding a potluck is already illegal. Yet, our class is never too obedient. Hee. Some of us brought along their handphones! To capture this wonderful moment. Haha.. Like what Hui Jiun said, illegal event captured by illegal handphone.
As an opening for our potluck, asked Yi Leen (our beloved monitor) to give a speech. I agree with her. I, too, dislike this class at the beginning of the year because this class is very lack of co-operation. And arguements always happened. But as time passed by, we kind of got together to do stuffs like moving table and chairs from one end of the school to another, preparing for the graduation dinner, rehearsing our performances… Now, we love this class and really, I don’t want to part with it yet! It brought tears to my eyes when she was talking. Okay okay, call me a cry baby however you like! But I won’t deny that I LOVE THIS CLASS!! Of course, along with the people in it! Hehe..
Our potluck began at 7.20am. The first round (?) ended at 8am. We invited Miss Angeline Chee to join us, as it was her english class then. She ate with us, like the food too. Then we paused. One reason was that we were too full, another one would be that she wanted to continue with our revision.
8.30am. Eng Fang Fang’s BM. Wen Yin sort of stuffed her with food even if she couldn’t take it anymore. We owed this wonderful teacher a lot. She helped us when our class faced some difficulties in preparing for our performances. Shared with us some of her experiences from pass years. She didn’t want to attend our dinner in the first place. But we kept asking her, persuading her… Coz we really want her to be there… In the end, she turned up. But she only came at around 8.30-9.30pm. JUST TO WATCH OUR PERFORMANCE! So touching…
The potluck ended around 10.35am. Amazing right? We split it into three rounds!!! XD What monsters we are when it comes to food… Haha..
Thursday was GREAT!!! Another page to be added to the wonderful memory album of S5C… I never regretted to be in this school. Even if I suffered for a few years, I will never forget these 5 years… Because I learnt a great deal, and have grown up (even if it’s not much).
Dear members of S5C, may our friendship last long! And I’m looking forward to our class reunion!!! All the best to you all! =)
24th October 2008
A very memorable day which I would never want to forget for the rest of my life. (At least for the next many many years before I turn into an old grumpy lady. XD) On this wonderful day, we, the fifth formers are finally graduating.
We have to reach school by 7.20am, as usual. Then we’re left to run around the school for one hour plus plus. =) To take pictures with ur best friends or beloved teachers.. And to get everyone to leave a note or signature in ur graduation magazine… The thing is, ONLY 5 CAMERAS ARE LIMITED FOR EVERY CLASS !!! Ridiculous, that’s what I think! What’s the point? No idea. Anyway, no one heed the rule, so many brought along their cams and phones. It was very fun. It’s like, all of a sudden, u will have to smile non-stop at flashy cameras till ur cheeks are numb and u can’t stop smiling! Haha… We had many hilarious-posed group photos.. Solemn ones… Pretty ones… Act-cute ones! =D Time slipped by our sides, leaving us, the happy ones, not acknowledged… We only knew that time’s up when the prefects came to call us.
At the hall, everyone was so excited that we even sang along with the chinese orchestra! Swt… XD Whenever a favourite or hot teacher walked by, we clapped loudly and some even screamed out I LOVE U !! Haha… Some of the tchers were frightened away. XP
Like any other graduation ceremonies, students and monitors, wonderful scorers and prestigous atheletes, state and country representatives, all went up the stage to receive their certs and medals from the honourable VIPs. I went up with Jo-Hannah, Luo Yi, Jianing and Li Yun to receive our medals. We stood up as the group champion in the Penang Law Olympiad 2008. Ah~~ One of the wonderful memories with these buddies of mine. Haha.
Finally, the end of the ceremony. We sang our graduation theme song. Dad said it brought a drop of tear when he heard us sing. Haha.. I guess I don’t feel that way coz we’ve rehearsed it too many times till we’ve lost the ‘mood’ of the song.
Friends told me that it’s pretty late to open a friendster account now. Coz it’s only ONE MONTH away from the torturious SPM!!! My bro (15) opened his last year. Couldnt help it, coz we finally have internet access at home just 2 months ago… I hesitated to have one when my bro persuaded me to do so. I just don’t understand what’s the point of looking at pictures of others when u get to see them everyday in school??? Yet I finally have one on 1st Oct. I find it as one of the many ways to keep in touch with my friends after graduation. If they continue updating their profiles, I may be lucky enough to see how much they’ve grown! XD Oh well… Wish i’m not a hypocrit… (Is that the right way to spell it??)
I now treat friendster as a blog, though it’s not really considered as one. I treat as a picture blog, haha.. Don’t know what happened to me someday somewhere, I began to enjoy taking photos with my friends and keeping them as memories. I organised them into a few albums and named them after important events throughout the year. They appear to be some of the precious moments of my life. So… Whoever comes to visit my profile, will know what is going on in shindee’s interesting life!!! XD
I was so happy when i find that i can create a blog here. Actually this is not my first experience with blogs. I had my first one on 21th August. It’s a chinese official blog website. That was when i started to enjoy blogging. I post personal diaries there. And not more than 5 of my friends get to see it. Dunno why though.. Made a few friends from taiwan… Enjoyed reading poems and pieces they wrote… It was fun as I get to share opinions and ideas with them. To be frank, i don’t like to read the papers (but i still do so somtimes). Even the issue abt the poisonous milk from china, i actually first heard abt it from one of my blog friends. She wrote abt it and gave some opinions. Many replied her and of course, I was one of them. Haha. For blogs, it was love at first sight.. Lol..
Later, i found out abt msn space and facebook. I updated my profile at my space and signed up for a facebook but decided to deal with’em after SPM. Coz i’m now occupied with model test papers from various states, hmwk, revision, tuitions, and blogging (during leisure time of coz). I reduced the time i spend online and blogging alrdy. TO STUDY. Haiz… Sacrifices that have to be made for the most important exam in my life…
Now, I’m struggling to get myself ready for SPM. Will definitely stop blogging maybe a fortnight or a week before that. I’m pretty sure that i’ll miss it very much…. T.T
Nevertheless, I LOVE BLOGGING!!! XD
